I have previously installed the Smartthings hub, downloaded the app and set up my devices and automation and it was all working OK. Now when I go to the app on my phone, the app seems to be there but I cannot see the hub or devices. What is smartthings app on android phone. I just got a new tablet and upgraded to Android 8. I noticed that it has an app on it called Smartthings. I figured it must have downloaded it from google play, But there’s no way to delete it or disable it. The closest I can find is in Home & Family, I can click on her name, Edit Name and Device, and then I have the option of changing the Presence Sensor, and then clicking “Connect New.

In the classic app you could easily see the presence of all of the mobile phones (i.e. who was/wasn’t in the house) – there doesn’t seem to be anyway of seeing this in the new version of the App, they don’t regiater as d… This week – can login to new app (when it works), cannot log into old app So my guess is that they are migrating accounts across, which may be the cause of the current huge issues in the UK / EU. Further guesswork is that at one stage you will be able use both, but once fully migrated you will have to use the new one. Instead of doing a large app interface overhaul like we did with iOS and Android, we’ll be releasing individual features over time.
